Who
is MTI? |
|
|
|
|
|
Meeting Tech Innovations is a technology solution provider (computer consultancy) dedicated to designing, developing, and delivering
custom computer and network solutions to serve the needs of
the meeting and marketing events industry. |
|
|
|
|
|
What
does MTI do? |
|
|
|
|
Our clients are managers who are responsible for
planning, setting-up, and running the technology at meetings and marketing
events.
They present us with a task that technology could help them
perform. MTI provides a solution by:
- finding an existing product
-or-
- integrating multiple products
-or-
- developing a new product
-and-
- providing the service, consulting, and training to help
set-up and support the solution.

How
is MTI different from others? |
| |
|
|
|
| Focus |
|
|
MTI's primary strategy is to focus on the
needs of a niche market - i.e. technology at meetings and
marketing events.
Within this niche there are many different buyers and
sellers. Each faces the challenge of not having the right
skills or information to reach a party who they can do
business with.
MTI aims to eliminate some of these challenges by knowing
what technologies are available and understanding exactly
how they can benefit the meeting industry.
| Buyer
or Seller |
Challenge
they face |
| Meeting Planners |
- Don't know what is available.
- Can't trust that what they do find is the best
fit.
|
Technology Providers
Software/Hardware specifically
designed for the meeting industry. |
- Marketing departments struggle to find out who
could use a product like theirs.
- Incentives often encourage them to make a sale
that may not be in the best interest of the
client.
|
Technology providers
Software/Hardware NOT specifically
designed for the meeting industry. |
- Know nothing of how their product could be used
by a meeting planner.
|
Computer Consultancies
who do NOT specialize in the meeting industry |
- Do not know what "off the shelf"
products are already available to the the meeting
industry. Every solution has to be developed from
scratch.
- Do not completely understand what meeting
planners do how technology can help them do it.
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Research |
|
|
MTI is constantly researching developments in
technology and changes the meeting industry. Our sources
include client interviews, industry publications, meeting
industry surveys, technology publications, and business
publications. |
|
|
|
|
| Feedback |
|
|
Client feedback is our number one source of
ideas for solutions. MTI regularly performs interviews with
clients, meeting industry leaders, technology consultants,
our employees, contract employees, and vendors to gain
insight and ideas on how we can anticipate and meet our
clients' needs. In fact - we offer incentive programs to those inside and
outside the company who give us ideas that we put into use. Click

Why
use MTI? |
|
|
|
|
- MTI is committed to the meeting and marketing events industry. Unlike many technology consultancies and solutions providers - meetings and marketing events are our main focus. MTI does all it's work for the people who make meetings happen.
Because of this we better understand the objectives of our clients.
They don't have to pay us to learn about what they do.
- We develop products and services that multiple different event organizers can use. We turn what would have been an expensive custom solution
for one client into a less expensive "off the shelf"
product for many clients.
- We work with a network of local computer and AV
rental companies to provide our solutions across the country.
- We remain impartial and uncommitted to any particular brands or technology providers. We are dedicated to informing our clients of the best solutions available. We do not encourage them to use one particular brand or company unless
it is the best fit for that client.
- The best solution for a client may be a combination of
multiple products and services from multiple vendors.
MTI takes the separate pieces and integrates them. MTI
ensures their compatibility and delivers them along with
any set-up, support, and training that maybe required.
