What networking services does MTI offer?

  
MTI offers a line of networking services that is designed around the needs of  meetings and marketing events. 

MTI can "wire" the venue ourselves or project manage the various contractors including:

  • The venues' official network contractor and telecommunications departments
  • Local networking contractors 
  • Electrician's unions 
  • Internet service providers
  • Wireless network providers

 
 

 

Networking services include:
High speed Internet line (T-1) installations and routing MTI can install an ISDN, DSL, Cable, or T-1 line into a venue and connect your event to the Internet, your home office, another hotel, a video conference, etc..  
 
In booth/room Internet service MTI can take venues' new or existing high speed Internet line and split the connection between several rooms, booths, or kiosks. 
 
Remote office set-up The staff at your event may need all the conveniences of their company's office while they are on-site. This includes a network to share files or to connect to the company servers.
 
Wireless networking MTI can set-up a wireless Ethernet network so that you can work while on the move. We can interface with PDA's and laptops to give you access to the Internet and your servers.
 
Video over LAN You may want to display interactive or "TV broadcast style" video to kiosks and computers located throughout your event. MTI can set up the network to handle that.
 

How do I order networking services?

 
Call us and tell us  where you need the network and what you want it to do. Start by calling us and describing where you need the network and what you want it to do. We will ask a series of questions about the specific applications you want and who you want to be able to network with. 
MTI looks into the venue and other specifics. MTI will look into the venue to see what network infrastructure is already in place and what MTI will have to set-up.  If you want to connect to the office we may need to talk to your in-house IT staff.
MTI prepares a few networking packages that will fill your needs.  MTI gets prices from all involved contractors (the venue, the ISP. etc..) and prepares a few packages listing what you will get and how much it will cost.
